How’d you get these numbers? These estimates are based on our 100+ client’s 10-year average monthly spending on tech support. Please note: these estimates can vary depending on your current IT infrastructure (i.e. an aging in-house file server will cost more to support than a business running on Office 365). But these are the ballpark average we’ve seen required to streamline a small business IT operation. Actual cost will vary depending on specific requirements. Contact Us to discuss.

How Much Does IT Support Cost for Small Businesses?

Most small business cannot afford to keep a full-time IT support staff, but they also can’t afford to be without IT support, which is where hiring outside companies comes in.

When choosing your tech support from an outside company, there are two basic pricing models to choose from: service contracts and hourly services.

Service Contracts

With a service contract, you get unlimited access to whatever services are included in that IT package.

That usually means that you have a whole team of experts working for you 24/7 to make sure that your technology is working the way it should.

Large and Midsize businesses prefer this because it allows them to be completely “hands off” in regards to their technology.

Service contracts are significantly more expensive than other IT support options.

At the end of the day, they offer few “extras” that you’ll actually need and use, which usually means you’ll find yourself locked into a contract where you’re paying for services that you’re not using.

Although we offer service contracts, we recommend most small businesses go with our hourly service option.

Hourly Services (Pay-As-You-Go)

With hourly services, you get much of the same support options as the service contracts, but rather than paying for continuous service; you only pay for the services that you need and use.

While other IT support companies may offer a limited number of services with this option, we not only offer the standard services at this level, but also provide Proactive Maintenance and Flexible Solutions at no extra cost.

Our goal is for your small business to be more self-reliant with your technology.

We prefer to come in, eliminate the single point of failure within your system, and then allow you to continue business as usual.

With introducing modern IT options, we like to come in, install it, and then show you how to use it so you can make the best of your new technology.

Why Do We Prefer Self Reliant Clients?

By giving you the tools you need to succeed, we can sleep at night rather than having to pour all of our energy into all of our clients all the time.

This approach allows our technicians to be significantly more productive when they are on the job, which is a huge benefit to you.

Another way you can benefit is that by being self-reliant rather than depending entirely on an outside IT support company, you can save up to 80% of the maintenance costs of your systems.

Choose the Best Tech Support Pricing Plan for Your Company

If you are “technologically impaired,” or have a LOT of technological needs, it may work better for you to go with a service contract, but we find that most of our clients don’t need our services every day.

In many cases, a problem such as slow computers or internet connections is caused by just one point in the system that’s failing.

We prefer to provide a one-time fix that will help save your small business money in the long run and that will let our technicians sleep at night.
